Friday Frock and Fizz

Sunshine and warm winds are filling the heart of New York City today.  Give yourself a pop of color and a sip of a natural and refreshing agua fresca.

Make a Watermelon and Grapefruit Agua Fresca at home like this:

Working in batches, puree 18 cups of chopped & seedless watermelon (one ten-pound melon) in a blender until smooth.

Pour into a large bowl and let stand for ten minutes. Skim foam from surface and discard.

Set a fine-mesh sieve over a large pitcher, line sieve with a cheesecloth.

Strain puree in pitcher and add grapefruit juice.

Fill glasses with ice and serve.
