Friday Frock and Fizz

Thank you, H & M, for your summer magazine inspiration. I am dreaming of wearing your frock, in this way, immediately.

And, a special thank you to the fabulous blog Heart of Light, for I have a new favorite fizz to pair perfectly to the vacation getaway vibe.

I’ve made a fizz with St. Germain before, and love this recipe just as much. It is a must-add to summer sip lists, kids. Dress it up with strawberries and have a seat by the sea. Cheers!

Cherub’s Cup:

1/4 cup sliced strawberries + more for garnish
1/2 cup St. Germain
1 cup Hendrick’s gin
1/3 cup lemon juice
1.5 bottles dry sparkling wine

Muddle your strawberries with a bit of the St. Germain.

Pour the muddled berries and all the hard alcohol into a large pitcher.

Stir in the lemon juice and the sparkling wine and taste to make sure you like the proportions.

Bonus Tip: Make freshly squeezed lemon juice ice cubes, in advance, to add to the mix.
