Life is for living and creating and sharing your real-time voice. I’ve learned this (more and more) with each passing year. In my very early twenties I took my first business trip, for my first-job-out-of-college, the evening of September 10, 2001. As a staffer to California’s U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, I was sent to the country’s capital for meetings in the Pentagon and Capitol BuildingĀ on 9/11. Needless to say the memories of the day sit in my heart and mind. I bring it all up now to especially remember those who passed that day, but also to remember the possibility of reinvention. You and whatever it is you adore are ever-changing. Take a moment to just enjoy and look people in the eye. The ones you love would love to know, trust me, this isn’t a rehearsal to the big show.
xx, Jenny
