Friday Frock & Fizz

Michael Kors’ Spring 2015 Collection is in full bloom. He maintains a classic American sportswear style but elevates all of it with frocks frosted in little yellow buttercups. It’s fresh, it’s joyful, it’s flower-me-happy.

I’m jetsetting to the Bay Area tomorrow for a weekend of no work and all play. I wish upon a marigold I had this Kors outfit to take along with me to Napa Valley#AllAccessKors is certainly a full bouquet worth catching. Cheers my dears.

Friday Frock & Fizz

YY JBD 1

After several months on hiatus, JBD’s original weekly post is back. Just.like.that. Kicking off the celebration, in honor of New York Fashion Weekare frocks by one of my favorite designers, Yuna Yang. The beauties above gracefully revealed her latest Spring/Summer 2015 collection last night. I can’t stop daydreaming over the feminine power energy embodied by Yuna’s freedom-esque themes married to soft, classic, floral twists.

Well-poured, classy cocktails are the perfect catch to Ms. Yang’s ’40’s inspired culture of chic. Ten choices await you right here. Kick up your heels and say cheers!

Mara Hoffman: Resort Swim 2015

Mara Hoffman is my spirit animal. Her use of color and unlimited creativity coupled with the fact that she is a fellow former dancer, well, I’ll just always adore her work. We all reap the benefits of her passion for travel and risk taking as her designs continuously embody a je ne sais quoi. Take a peek if you haven’t experienced the rainbow of flavor.

Side Swept

As a brown-eyed brunette gal, I’ve gravitated toward Cindy Crawford’s style since my tween years. Everything about her ’90s look inspired me way back when. To this day, I flip my locks far right for a sexy-I-am-loving-up-life coiffed pick me up. Run your fingers through your hair and throw it one way or the other.

Nasty Gal x Shakuhachi

nasty gal

Hello, hello. Nasty Gal has collaborated with Aussie brand Shakuhachi. The force is fierce. Tailored silhouettes under a summer effervescence of signature silks and prints. This leather bustier number will be worn on the next hot date night and while we’re talking jumpsuits, I’ll save this one for a City of Angels evening under the stars. Oh, and everything is coming up roses. Yes, indeed.

Laure de Sagazan

Way back when, Paris was the first city I stepped into outside of the United States. It’s been a love affair ever since. From the food and fashion to the architecture to the French way of life, I’ve written about my journeys back and forth to Paris here. It must have been a few years ago when I discovered Parisian Laure de Sagazan. Primarily a wedding dress designer, her lovely, delicate creations seem fitting for Spring no matter the occasion. J’adore.
